to do. Cleaning, pictures, baking, shopping, more pictures... The bad news is I don't feel like doing anything but sitting here bundled up. It's supposed to be warmer today but not warm enough for me to want to not be sitting here bundled up. Sure, it's really bad in some parts of the country but that doesn't matter because I was born, raised and still am a southeast Texas person. I don't do cold. Besides, watching all the ice and snow in other parts only makes me want to stay bundled up and appreciate being warm that much more. On the other hand, if I don't get up and TCB today, I will DEFINITELY regret it later. I really should just stick to my to-do list and schedule. I don't want to but I should. I should but I probably won't. Who am I kidding?
Fine. I'll get up and at least get dressed. Maybe that'll spark something in me. I doubt it but maybe.
For now I'll share this picture from our beach walk.
Seriously. I'm getting up from this chair to TCB. I'll have plenty of time for computer stuff later.
ugh.

34 degrees this morning, I want to share my morning from two days ago. I'll call this "Sunrise in Cancún".
I went out to the beach at 6:30. It was me and about a dozen workers who were getting the beach ready for all the people who like to show up at regular hours.
I sat there for about 10 minutes and then the light slowly started coming.
And then this guy was all, "what's she taking pictures of? I'll stand here and see for myself."
Then this bird was all, "what's going on over here? I saw you taking pictures and then that man started looking too."
Then I sat there and watched.
Then it really started coming up.
Then this boat rolled up. Motored up? Drifted up? Floated up? He just showed up and he wanted to watch too. I wasn't going to complain since there was a whole coastline and he decided to park it right in front of me. I was going to appreciate and take advantage of it.
Then Cosme joined me and we took a walk down the beach, beyond the resort... after I got what might be my favorite of the sunrise.
Then it all was officially up.
We got back from our walk and I parked it on a beachfront bed and continued to watch.
Now it's 34 degrees and I'm bundled up trying to get ready for Christmas.
FelÃz Navidad, y'all!

first. I got a new phone today and look what it has easy access to... blog posts. While it is easier and faster on my regular keyboard, I had to give it a shot since I'm sitting here waiting on a pedicure. Now that I've typed a little, let's post this and see how it goes.
