quest to find alligators. Eric saw an alligator on his last day of driving for drivers ed and since then I've been determined to find some myself. Mom and I went out to the Brazoria National Wildlife Refuge and saw this guy. We almost missed him but I thought it was rude that someone would dump a tire in the water. That tire was actually his tail.

This morning we went to Brazos Bend to find more alligators. There was this one sitting in the water,

this one was sitting at the edge of the water

and then this one was sitting out in the sun.

Some of the hikers told us the alligators would be lined up on the banks of the lake pretty soon to sit out in the sun. That's the signal for a chicken like myself to call it a day.
