i was in the

mood with time to kill so I took a drive before picking Eric up from school. I loved going to Parker's when I was little. Not only was it a store and I would generally get something if I asked for it* but the customer service booth handed out lollipops. You know the lollipops with tightly twisted paper looping around to make a handle for the pop? Those.

*Just a note. You know those individually-wrapped Scott toilet paper rolls? I was always fascinated with those but I never got one. Maybe I'll start a new topic on things I always asked for but never got.

is popcorn from Target. I think the picture says it all. And to me, the leftovers are wonderful for breakfast the next day.

meet

Lucille.Cosme and I took her to the vet on Friday. She'll stay outside...if we keep her. Yes, she is inside right now but only because she's so little and she needs to destress. The vet wants me to bring her back in next week for some shots. Once I start her on shots, I'll probably keep her.

While we were in the vet's office, I started to think about names. Eric had a couple of names picked out but they were all boy names. But what if he was a she? I started thinking about girl names. Someone in the office said, "Desi"... ding, ding, ding...I'll call her Lucy, no Lucille. I thought about it for a second and assured myself Eric would never go for Lucille. Then I remembered BB King's guitar...Lucille! Perfect. I called Eric on the way home and told him IF we keep her, she'll be called Lucille. He asked, "you mean like BB King's guitar, cool!"-see how it all works out.

This kitten was stuck under Cosme's truck this morning. If I don't find a home for him today, I'll take him to the vet's office. I told Eric he already talked me into having ONE cat and there will not be another. Anybody want a cute little kitten? He's very scared but really sweet.
